So quickly, the summer has come to a close. Thus, I thought I would highlight a few of our more memorable and recent moments.
The Dunn Family (also blessed with three little girls) came over for an evening of dinner and 'girly' fun! Pictured above are the fair princesses: Claire (Snow Queen), Nyah Dunn (Tinkerbell), Aubrey Dunn (Barbie) and Rory (Belle). Not only were we able to spend time with the Dunn's in our home, but we shared America's (2nd) favorite pasttime with them as well. Michael joined Jamin Dunn and other all-star husbands on a summer softball league. Pictured below is the season home run leader for DBR Softball...
Michael Thatcher! Unfortunately, the team ended with a losing record despite many valiant efforts. As you can see, we had a great time, nonetheless.
Once softball season came to a close, we began indulging in other hobbies: cycling. Here, Claire practices on her Red Flyer tricycle.
She still has a little trouble keeping her eyes on the road...
Immobile Jane was quite distraught; she was the only one without wheels...
Since her big sister, Rory is learning how to ride a big girl bike! During the first lesson (shown here), Rory proved excited and fearless. However, as time has passed, fear has crept in and hindered her fun. Hopefully, though, this picture will be a common one, and she will learn to enjoy her new ride.

No way!! First of all I can't believe how big Jane is. It's been a while since I've seen a picture of her. She's so cute!!! Also, I love Claire's pigtails and the girls' poms in the softball picture. And it's amazing to see Nyah and Aubrey who are looking completely different from when we last saw them. Thanks for posting a new entry. I miss you!!!!
