Anderson Beach

Shocking!! First, I know you must be aghast that I am posting twice in the same week! I, too, am happily surprised. :) Even more amazing is that we enjoyed a beach adventure this week! Beach, you say, oh no, that isn't right; you live in a state surrounded by other states! Yes, it's true, I do! And, still, we visited "Anderson Beach" -- located at Percy Priest Lake. This area is an enclosed section of the larger lake - complete with a sandy shoreline, picnic tables and a park! The best part proved to be the many friends that we were in the company of. What fun, oh my!!

And, last, but not least, Jane shows her love for all rubber ducks - blue or yellow, sandy or clean.

Apparently, Jane is quite at home on the beach... I'm not certain what that means just yet...or what our future holds...

I am only sad that we discovered this getaway so late in the summer. Next year, I plan to have a family of "beach bums."

P.S. Sorry for the grainy quality of a few photos; I am just learning how to take 'good' pics with my i-phone... I know, that's shocking too.
