Pumpkins

Here are the pumpkins we bought at Gentry Farms. Michael asked each of the girls to describe the "face" they wanted him to carve. Rory drew her ideal design on a piece of paper; Michael, then cut into her pumpkin, making eyelashes and a gaping smile. Claire, on the other hand, gave her input as Michael carved out different features; apparently, she likes the "bug" look. (I do often call her my "little buggy.") We placed tealights inside our pumpkins and enjoyed the "spooky" scene over dinner.
