What about Ro?

Here is a small sample of what makes Rory so very special.

1. Rory is a "daddy's girl" (see pictures). Michael is her prince, her tea time partner, her person of choice.
2. She likes to play games (i.e., Go Fish, Uno, Candyland, etc.).
3. Rory pretends to walk on stilts; to do this, she places stacking cups on her feet and walks around furniture (i.e., Barbie's Twelve Dancing Princesses).
4. She has recently started referring to herself as, "Big Sissy." I find that hilarious.
5. Rory loves - a lot. :)
6. She is an awesome big sister. If Jane is crying or fussy, Rory will often read her a book, sing to her or just talk to her (in a very high pitched voice). If Claire is sad, Rory tries to comfort her with hugs or tells Claire to, "lay your head on Big Sissy's lap". I tried to snap a pic of this, but the humor/sweetness of it was too much for me.
7. Rory tends to enjoy order... I really appreciate this...most of the time.
8. She uses big words that she doesn't completely understand the meaning of or context; an example, "you're infusing me." I have to admit infused does sound similar to confused.
9. Rory is a teacher. Once she feels she has mastered a skill, she passes the info on...to anyone who doesn't seem quite as competent...even me.
10. She is quick to forgive, encourage or comfort.
11. Rory sings -- real songs, nonsense, sentences, whatever pops into her mind.
12. She talks to me. I love the conversations I have with her one-on-one, before bed or after nap. I see a glimpse of how she thinks, what occupies her, her imaginings...
13. She likes dresses, jewelry, nail polish, lip gloss, feminine things.

It is my privilege to watch her blossom into a lovely little girl.
