On the way home from high school group (at around 10 pm), Rory and Claire had an interesting conversation in the back of the van. It went something like this...
Claire: "Apple, apple, apple..."
Rory: "Are you saying apple, Claire?"
C: "Yeah."
R: "We can't have an apple right now."
C: "Why?"
R: "Because we're not doing that... it's night time."
C: "Why?"
R: "Because we're not having food; it's dark outside."
C: "Why?"
R: "Because we need to go to bed, go night night."
C: " Why?"
R: "So we can grow... and become mommies."
C: "Why?"
R: (pause) "I don't know why."
C: "Why?"
R: "I don't know why."
C: "Why?"
R: "I don't know why."
Repeat this about a dozen times.
Rory: "Stop it now."
Silence, then laughter from both girls.
Rory: "Okay, lets do it again. You ask "why?", and I will say, "I don't know why."
And, they do... all the way home.

Oh my word, that is so adorable and reminds me so much of Emma and Chloe. What a blessing that our girls can be so cute together with their sisters :).
