This past Saturday, the fam attended our church's (Community Bible Church) annual Old Time Radio hour. We spread out a blanket, had some snacks and listened to awesome gospel music (note, Claire with pretzel and Rory dancing a jig). Following the "radio program," we were reminded of how amazing the gospel is! Jesus Christ gave His precious, perfect life for (rotten, sinful, wretched) me; His body took all of God's wrath and punishment that I, would otherwise, have had to endure eternally. And, the crazy part is I have done and will never do anything to deserve that life-giving grace and mercy. All I can do is live in obedience and thankfulness, sharing this glorious news at every opportunity. God is so very good!
