A week ago this Sunday, we returned from breezy and beautiful Montenegro. The girls and I siezed the opportunity to accompany Michael on a pre-planned business trip: play for us, work for him.
So, after a traffic jam only Moscow can muster, experiencing the worst customer service known to man (via Montenegro Airlines), and missing our (Saturday afternoon) flight - we arrived in Budva, Montengro at 9 pm Sunday.
To this...
Rory snapped a few shots herself; I pretended to be asleep. : )
Ahhhh....
Almost all of these photos are taken around our hotel. The view was breathtaking.
When we ventured out, I almost always left the camera behind (unintentionally, may I add). Instead, my phone doubled as camera; perhaps those pictures will come later.
I do recall a lovely and authentic dinner... I ordered fish, and then, photographed it. ; )
The path toward the beach...
The sea...
The girls tried to use their beach toys on the beach soil (composed of little sand and lots of pebbles); unfortunately, we discovered it impossible to build a castle and moat with such stuff.
We did not splash around beachside, as sea hedgehogs were out in droves. Special shoes or particularly observant eyes were necessary to take a dip. That, then, counted us out. Ha!
So, we headed back to the pool. : )
Later, all five of us journeyed to the sea.
We wait for Dad... He's grabbing snacks for us.

My beautiful girls...
Finally, a pic with Dad!
Rock climbing... sord of.
The morning of departure...perhaps, they didn't want to leave....
That, or they wanted coffee too.
The country of Montenegro is beautiful, and our time was incredibly relaxing and refreshing. Somehow, though, I missed Moscow.
I'm glad to be back.
